En tant que citoyen albanais, vous n'êtes pas autorisé à payer des cotisations de retraite volontaires après avoir quitté l'Allemagne et la région mentionnée sous c uniquement si vous avez cotisé à votre retraite pendant moins de 60 mois au régime de retraite allemand.
En d'autres termes, en tant que citoyen albanais, vous n'avez droit au remboursement de vos cotisations d'assurance retraite que si vous n'avez pas droit à de futures prestations de retraite. Pour avoir droit aux prestations de retraite mensuelles, une période minimale de cotisation de retraite de 60 mois est requise.
Si vous avez droit à des prestations de retraite, vous êtes autorisé à cotiser volontairement au système allemand depuis n'importe où dans le monde. Mais : Vous n'avez pas droit à un remboursement de vos cotisations de retraite.
How Much Money Can I Expect from My German Pension Refund?
On average, pension refunds are approximately €11,800, although the actual amount depends on your personal work history and income level in Germany.
Typically, you will be refunded for:

100% of the mandatory contributions deducted from your salary while you worked

50% of any voluntary pension contributions you made, for example, while self-employed

Additional factors, such as divorce-related pension adjustments, may affect the final amount.

Since 2018, the pension contribution rate has been 9.3% of your gross salary, up to a capped maximum income (Beitragsbemessungsgrenze). In 2025, this cap is €8,050 per month. Income exceeding this threshold is not subject to pension deductions and is not included in refund calculations.
