I had worked for a couple of years as a student worker in Germany so my refund wasn't that big. Was a pleasure dealing with these guys. Johannes was great. They deal with the bureaucracy so you don't have to, and the funds get deposited straight into your account.

​recommend Germany Pension Refund for anyone who contributed to the government pension fund in Germany and has by now left the country.

They provided a clear and honest service, were very timely to reply and from email exchanges I know they are doing the best possible to get a speedy contribution reimbursement.

It is not cheap by any mean, but I suggest evaluating the time you would spend trying to jump through the governmental hoops and balance that with the service they provide. On the flip side, I'd much prefer to have a fixed fee instead of a percentage. I am unsure how much additional work 30K EUR vs 5K EUR reimbursement means. This potentially allows them more business for lower reimbursements?

All in all, great service, quality and speedy work and a very human customer service.

P.S. I did recommend them to a few friends who also used their services.
